put simply, it's a type of run which gives us all the data we need to make sure your training meets you at exactly the right level. No more overtraining, no more undertraining, will soon teach you how to make sure you do the perfect run every single time.

Let your coach know once you've done it so they can get to work on creating your training zones, before moving on to watch the next video.

Note: this is the only run on your plan which won't sync over to your watch using Garmin structured workouts. After completing your benchmark run, the other runs will start showing up for you ready on the day.
